South Carolina Crappie Fishing
The types of fish are part of the family of the sun and are known by several different names, such as speckled perch, Paper and goggleye mouth. South Carolina is very popular for its fishing and fish continues to grow as a spread on the wonderful opportunities this state has to offer. In fact, almost all lakes, rivers and ponds in this state have crappie in them, which explains why many fishermen are attracted to South Carolina fishing for this species.
The types of fish are divided into two categories, known as black crappie and white crappie. The black crappie is good course, darker than the white crappie, but this is not the only difference. He has seven or eight dorsal spines and different points in their sides. When fishing in deep water and the largest reservoirs of luck finding the type of black fish, because that's the kind of environment they prefer.
White crappie are lighter in color and only six spines. They also have eight or nine vertical bands on both sides instead of points and White crappie prefer to live in remote areas rather than black crappie.

How to Catch Crappie
There are several ways to catch fish because they are very easy to roll in the species most commonly used methods for catching fish drifting and casting, drift fishing and more. Any which of these techniques should provide excellent results. Spring fishing is the best time to go crappie fishing in South Carolina because is when the crappie are preparing for the spawning season. They will migrate into shallow water, hot to start laying.
In summer, crappie are moving into deeper water during mid-day when the water is cooler, then back to shallow waters during the period night. In the fall you need to fish in shallow to moderately deep, late night to morning. However, they are still with the deeper waters during the day when the sun is at its zenith.
